Sioux Falls, SD – Fire danger is expected to reach high to very high levels across much of South Dakota today, as strong winds and dry grass conditions create favorable conditions for rapid fire spread.
According to the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, winds will strengthen throughout the day with gusts reaching 30 to 35 miles per hour, especially from late morning into the afternoon.
