SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Evan Nelson of Yankton, the man convicted of knowingly distributing fentanyl that killed a Vermillion teenager, was sentenced to 22 years in prison Monday afternoon at the Sioux Falls Federal Courthouse.
Jenny Orr, the mother of Kelcy Orr, says they found Kelcy deceased in her bed two days before Christmas in 2023 as a result of fentanyl poisoning. Kelcy was 15.
