SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A bill that makes data centers pay for the costs the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission incurs when it reviews their contracts has advanced to the House floor.
“We have narrowed this bill just to data centers, to make sure the costs they pay is fair and equitable and isn’t passed on to other customers,” Kristie Feigen told the House Commerce and Energy committee. She is one of three elected PUC members.
