Sioux Falls, South Dakota – Light snow and pockets of freezing drizzle are expected to impact the Tri-State region beginning Saturday afternoon and continuing into Sunday morning, with travel impacts possible along Interstate 29 and surrounding roadways, according to the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls.

Snow is forecast to move from west to east across eastern South Dakota, southwest Minnesota, and northwest Iowa. Most areas can expect a dusting to around one inch of snow, though isolated pockets may receive up to two inches, especially west of I-29.
