SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Day six of the Dylan Farmer murder trial has concluded in Minnehaha County. The jury heard testimony from the lead detective again on Tuesday.

Farmer is charged with first degree and second degree murder in the 2024 death of Casey Shaffer.
The lead detective gave a timeline of events on Sept. 6-7, 2024, starting on South Bailey Street with the site of the murder, then going to the gas station where Farmer can be seen with a friend, Farmer then goes to his aunt’s house followed by the 24/7 desk followed by being dropped of at the the Bishop Dudley before his arrest at the Alpine Inn.
