There has been some confusion regarding the closure of two of the Southwest Crisis Center’s physical offices in Jackson and Luverne. We want each and every person in our service area to know we are not leaving. Our physical locations are changing, but we’re not leaving. Services will continue to be offered for those who need them in Jackson and Rock counties.
We are moving to a regional service model to remain sustainable. No counties are losing access to services. Survivors will continue to be supported. With upcoming funding trends, grant restrictions and staff sustainability, these changes allow us to protect core services and avoid deeper cuts in the future…
