“This is Cannoli, who is a domestic rat. They do love to explore, so he just wants to know his surroundings. So, I know rats sometimes get a bad rap. But for these guys, I know a lot of people associate them with trash and garbage and stuff, which is where you may find them. Only because they are being resourceful,” said Mansell.
“These guys are very opportunistic omnivores, meaning that they just like to find whatever they can eat. A lot of times it will be fruit and nuts and seeds, but then a little meat here and there.”…
