LARCHWOOD—A 33-year-old Hills, SD, man was arrested about 9:35 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, near Larchwood on charges of first-offense operating while under the influence and possession of an open container of alcohol.
The arrest of Paul John Koob stemmed from the stop of a 2017 Ram 2500 pickup for failing to maintain its lane on 100th Street, east of Buchanan Avenue, about four miles northwest of Larchwood, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
Koob had bloodshot/watery eyes and the odor of an alcoholic beverage…
