Tea Fire Dept. alerts farmers of fire danger

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – The Tea Volunteer Fire Department is reminding farmers of the fire danger in the area.

The Tea Volunteer Fire Department said a fire that sparked Wednesday morning was handled quickly due to farmers having tillage equipment ready.

The department is asking local farmers to have tillage equipment on standby to have it hooked up and ready in the event of a grassland fire.
