SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — During the winter months, it’s easy to remember that some people might be in need of hats, gloves and coats. But other clothing items are often overlooked. Remedy Brewing and a local organization hosted a socks and underwear drive to benefit the St. Francis House in Sioux Falls.
As soon as the doors opened for Remedy Brewing’s sixth annual Brunchfest, the donations were already coming in.
“We actually had people already bringing in, like, a whole bunch of sacks of stuff to donate and everything,” said Aaron Nelson, event coordinator for Remedy Brewing. “So, it’s been really kind of, you know, heartwarming to see that happen this morning.”
