Jury selection is complete, and opening arguments are scheduled for Tuesday morning in the trial of 46-year-old Jubal Rattler. The defendant faces second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, and aggravated assault charges in the 2025 death of Doris High Elk. The 39-year-old High Elk died from her injuries on July 6, 2025.
