SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The City of Sioux Falls announced several road construction projects that will begin on Monday, March 2, and will impact travel within parts of the city.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Minnesota Avenue Construction
Beginning on Monday, March 2, 2026, there will be intermittent lane closures along North Minnesota Avenue to allow the installation of temporary traffic signals at West Second Street and West Sixth Street in preparation for the upcoming street and utility reconstruction project.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction beginning March 9, 2026. Work will start on the east side of Minnesota Avenue and access to side streets within the construction zone will be limited…
