Late week system could bring severe storms, rain and snow

Temperatures will continue to climb as we move through a mild and relatively pleasant week. Highs will reach the mid to upper 50s most days, with patchy fog possible during the morning hours. After that, a complex spring storm system will bring the chance of strong to severe thunderstorms, beneficial rain and possibly even a little snow Friday night into Saturday.

Mild temperatures will continue to melt snow. That will put plenty of moisture into the air and help promote overnight fog. That will once again be possible Thursday morning, but with temperatures mainly in the upper 30s, frost should not be a major concern. Thursday will be partly to mostly cloudy with highs reaching the mid to upper 50s.

A complex spring storm system will move across the area late this week into the weekend, bringing a wide variety of weather including strong to severe storms, heavy rain and even a little snow…
