Not everyone is thrilled about the proposed plan to move Smithfield Foods out of downtown Sioux Falls.
With nearly a full house, and some forced to stand, residents opposing the meat processing plant’s new location let city officials know for the first time during a public meeting that the idea was what they called a “burden,” a “slap in the face” and a “nightmare,” instead.
