Temperatures to stay above normal; Weekend storm possible

Good morning KELOLAND! Record highs were reached for parts of KELOLAND yesterday. Sioux Falls warmed to 73 in the afternoon, the warmest temperature so far this year. Rapid City warmed all the way to 79.

Today will be cooler, but still above normal again for this time of the year. We are expecting near 60 in Sioux Falls late in the afternoon with a northeast wind.

It look like a little snow could fall tonight in far northern SD, but the amounts will stay low. You can see some of the projections on the map below.
