SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – A snow removal parking ban has been issued in Brookings and will go into effect 5 p.m. Sunday.
The parking ban will remain in effect until all residential streets have been plowed. Residents are asked to remove their vehicles from streets, avenues, and alleys before 5 p.m. Violators will be subject to ticketing and towing.

People should not park on emergency routes. The ban doesn’t include the downtown core business district from 3rd Ave to 5th Ave and from 6th St to the railroad tracks.
