Pine Ridge woman sentenced for cocaine distribution

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Pine Ridge woman was sentenced to four years and three months in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

Bessie Rose Brewer, 33, was sentenced for these crimes on March 9, according to a press release from the United States Attorney General’s South Dakota District.

The four years and four months sentence will run concurrent to three years in federal prison on a firearms possession charge.
