SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Here’s a look at today’s top stories for KELOLAND On the Go.

The Black Hawk Volunteer Fire Department says firefighters arrived to find a single-story home on fire, with flames spreading into the roof and nearby trees and homes around 2:00 a.m. Wednesday. Crews were able to quickly contain the fire.

The Douglas School District is set to expand with a new Elementary School in the near future.  This is part of the efforts to prepare for the arrival of the B-21 Raider at Elsworth Air Force Base in the coming years. The Douglas School District is expecting around 100 new students a year over the next 15 years, according to an estimate from the Air Force.
