Derick Wenck, Harrisburg Mayor, was re-elected Chair and Elaine Johnson, Beresford Finance Officer, was re-elected Vice Chair for District 3 of the South Dakota Municipal League (March 24, 2026). As the district chair, Wenck will act as a contact for and represent their district as a member of the SDML Board of Directors. Duties began immediately.
Leland Treichel, SDML President and President of the Board of Roscoe, discussed the strengths of the Municipal League with the group.
