SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – South Dakota Highway Patrol announced that sobriety checkpoints will be conducted in 16 counties throughout April.
The counties that will have sobriety checkpoints include:
- Beadle County
- Bennett County
- Codington County
- Davison County
- Hutchinson County
- Jerauld County
- Lawrence County
- Lincoln County
- Lyman County
- Meade County
- Minnehaha County
- Moody County
- Pennington County
- Roberts County
- Stanley County
- Yankton County
The checkpoints are funded by the South Dakota Office of Highway Safety and conducted by the South Dakota Highway Patrol with the help of local law enforcement.
