Sioux Falls road construction projects to affect traffic within the city (March 30)

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The City of Sioux Falls announced several road construction projects that will begin the week of March 30, which will impact travel within parts of the city.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

41st Street & Phillips Avenue lane restrictions

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026, the eastbound and southbound through lanes at the intersection of 41st Street and South Phillips Avenue will be shifted to utilize the dedicated left turn lanes on both sides of the intersection. Two-way traffic will be maintained in all directions.
