Fargo man dies after beam pins him in semi

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A semi driver died from his injuries when he was pinned in the cab after a concrete beam shifted forward in a March 17 incident, the South Dakota Department of Public Safety said.

David J. Wosick, 62, of Fargo, North Dakota, was slowing for a stop sign at the intersection of South Dakota Highways 28 and 25 four miles from Willow Lake when the concrete beam shifted into the cab. He was transported to a Sioux Falls hospital, where he died from injuries on March 21, the DPS said. The crash happened in Clark County at about 9:44 p.m. on March 17.
