Two jailed for money laundering at casino

LARCHWOOD—Two Sioux Falls, SD, residents were arrested Tuesday, March 24, on warrants for money laundering through their activities at Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort northwest of Larchwood.

The arrest of 51-year-old Lisa Helene Kadinger-Meinders and 53-year-old William Albert Crossley III stemmed from Kadinger-Meinders being observed on video winning a slot machine jackpot of more than $10,000 after taxes about 12:35 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at the casino, according to the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.

Kadinger-Meinders knowingly agreed to Crossley claiming the jackpot instead of her, and Crossley knowingly agreed to claiming the jackpot instead of the actual winner., according to the complaint/affidavit filed by the DCI…
