Nold brings solutions to SFSD board for smaller classes, higher staff pay

Changing open enrollment policies, adding three elementary class size reduction teachers, adding four more elementary school teachers and increasing staff salaries to the rate of inflation.

Those are the four ideas Sioux Falls School District Superintendent Jamie Nold brought to the school board for consideration in its second work session to look at the district’s budget for fiscal year 2027, which is the 2026-2027 school year.
