GEORGE—A 31-year-old George woman was charged Thursday, April 9, on a charge of first-offense domestic abuse assault resulting in injury or mental illness.
The charge against Cassandra Marie Prescott stemmed from her striking her male roommate while she was driving her 2012 Ford Escape about 10:45 p.m. Saturday, April 4, about four miles southeast of Lester, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
