SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Joseph Hoek’s request to delay the trial was denied Friday morning, with his trial scheduled to start September 21 in Rapid City.
Hoek is facing one count of First Degree Murder and one count of Aggravated Assault after the death of Moody County Chief Deputy Ken Prorok in February 2024.
