SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — No. 1 Jefferson, No. 2 Washington, and Lincoln each earned dominant wins in the Spring Scramble on Saturday.
The Cavaliers run-ruled West Fargo Horace 11-0 in the late afternoon matchup. Makenzie Bierman earned the win for Jefferson, pitching a shutout on one hit, three strikeouts, and one walk across three innings. Five different Cavs collected two hits on the win. Jefferson will next face Roosevelt on Tuesday at 6pm.
The Warriors beat St. Louis Park in a run-rule 20-6. Maddy Mescher collected five RBI on two hits to lead Washington to victory. Emily Akkerman started in the circle for the Warriors, allowing six runs on eight hits over five innings with 11 strikeouts. Washington plays Sioux Falls rival Lincoln on Tuesday at 6pm…
