Debris to line Sioux Falls streets for cleanup week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – Streets in two Sioux Falls neighborhoods will be lined with old furniture, yard waste and other bulky items as part of the city’s Project NICE and Project KEEP initiatives.

For 35 years, the city has chosen two neighborhoods to help clean up debris and other items like furniture, old mattresses, and landscaping. On the designated streets, home owners can put their unwanted items on their curb.

“This kind of gives the opportunity for them to be able to place it curbside and then our teams will come and pick that up,” Streets Operations Manager Dustin Hansen said…
