SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The leaf and branch drop sites in Sioux Falls will close this Sunday.
The sites are located on North Lyon Boulevard near the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds and on Chambers Street near the city’s Household Hazardous Waste Facility. Both drop sites are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The city reminds residents that leaves and branches must be separated, and leaves must be removed from plastic bags. Leaves in paper bags are acceptable. All loads must be covered with a tarp or transported in an enclosed vehicle. Plastic bags, stumps, rubble and household garbage are not accepted.
