A hiker is dead after being attacked by a bison in Custer State Park. South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks says it happened on Monday. A 70-year-old woman was hiking with her husband when they came across a group of bull bison. Officials say she was hit in the back by a bison and died from her injuries.
Two people are hurt following a rollover in Yankton County. It happened late Friday afternoon when a pickup was pulling a camper near an intersection north of Yankton. The Sheriff’s Office says the driver lost control when the camper started swaying. The pickup went into the shoulder of the road and overturned. Both the people inside the vehicle have non-life-threatening injuries…
