SPOKANE, Wash. — A man was sentenced to more than five years in prison for setting multiple fires in downtown Spokane last summer.
On May 26, the Spokane County Superior Court sentenced 38-year-old Chad Horne to 63 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to three counts of 2nd Degree Arson.
According to a press release, there was a series of fires set in downtown Spokane, Kendall Yards and East Central Spokane in July 2025. Court documents show that Horne was throwing items and knocking over planters on West Summit Parkway, and was seen nearby when 911 got reports of a fire…
