I-90 paving near Spokane starts June 1 with night lane closures

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Washington State Department of Transportation said drivers on Interstate 90 near Spokane should expect delays when nighttime paving starts Monday, June 1.

The work will cover both directions of I-90 from the State Route 904 interchange in Four Lake to just west of the Geiger/Grove Road interchange. The project is expected to continue into early August.

Drivers are told to plan for single-lane closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day, Monday through Friday. The agency also said people should expect lower speeds in the work zone, occasional ramp closures and width restrictions…
