City of Spokane launches new eviction prevention resources webpage

SPOKANE, Wash. — The City of Spokane has announced the launch of a new webpage that helps residents facing housing instability quickly access resources.

According to the City, the new webpage is being launched by the City of Spokane Housing and Human Services Department (HHS).

  • Contact information for the Eviction Defense Screening Line, community support and nonprofit organizations
  • Connections to free legal assistance
  • Rental assistance resources
  • Information about tenant rights and responsibilities

“Preventing displacement often starts with making information accessible,” said Housing and Human Services Director Dawn Kinder. “By bringing these resources together in one place and making them easily available, we can better support our community members during times of uncertainty.”

The webpage will soon be translated into various languages and made available on the City’s website…
