Spokane, WASH. — The Inland Northwest Land Conservancy (INLC) and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on June 23th and June 25th is calling for volunteers to help pull down an old chain-link fence and clear the way for wetland restoration at Waikiki Springs Nature Preserve.
They will remove posts, cut and roll the fencing, and set some aside to reuse for a temporary trail closure. This is hands-on work that opens the path for machines to create new wetland areas safely…
