The search for a murder suspect — who killed a teenage boy in an unprovoked attack at a Gresham park — ended after a year-long hunt.
Camerino Vides, who was 16 at the time of the murder, was arrested Thursday, June 25, in Spokane on unrelated charges. Gresham detectives worked with their Washington colleagues to identify him and connect him to the 2025 murder in Vance Park. He is being held in Spokane pending extradition to Oregon.
