SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — On Thursday, the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) announced it will award $59.1 million to three infrastructure projects in Washington state through the Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) program, which provides grants for surface transportation infrastructure projects with significant local or regional impact.
Recipients in Washington state included the City of Spokane Valley, the City of Tacoma and the Port of Bellingham.
