SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Indians are inviting community members to roll up their sleeves and make a difference for the Spokane River during the Redband Rally River Cleanup on Thursday.
The event features two sessions. The morning session runs from 10 a.m. to noon at Redband Park, located at 216 N Cedar St in Spokane. The afternoon session takes place from 1 to 3 p.m. at The Islands Trailhead in Spokane Valley.
Participants will gather trash along the banks and trails on the edge of the Spokane River, contributing to habitat restoration efforts for the region’s signature fish, the native redband trout.
