SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Fire Department and Frontier Behavioral Health are expanding their joint Behavioral Response Program, which is aimed at helping people during substance use and mental health crises.
The Behavioral Response Unit will pair a Spokane Fire paramedic with a Frontier Behavioral Health clinician for specific 911 calls ranging from drug overdoses to mental health crises.
