SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane residents gathered Wednesday morning to celebrate the start of construction on Meadowglen Park, marking a significant milestone for a city that has waited more than two decades for a new neighborhood park.
The groundbreaking ceremony kicked off the development of the park in the Indian Trail neighborhood, a project funded by a parks levy voters approved last November.
