State Highway 904 reduced to one lane between Cheney and Tyler through August for paving project

SPOKANE, Wash. — Drivers traveling between Cheney and Tyler should expect delays over the next several weeks as the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will begin a paving project on State Highway 904.

WSDOT said that maintenance crews are rehabilitating about 9 miles of pavement between I-90 in Tyler and Cheney to improve driving conditions and extend the life of the roadway.

WSDOT said that the project includes removing and replacing existing pavement, installing rumble strips, replacing guideposts and restriping the highway. Officials said the work is intended to address uneven pavement and provide a smoother ride for motorists…
