COLFAX, Wash. — A Spokane carjacking suspect was arrested near Colfax Friday evening.
According to thee Whitman County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were notified about the carjacking at around 6:30 p.m. on Friday when the suspect, later identified as 34-year-old Johnathan Payne from Moscow, fled Spokane County.
Payne was seen by multiple people driving erratically on State Route 195 through Whitman County. Witnesses saw him speeding, making unsafe passes and forcing other cars off the road…
