Trial for man accused of murdering his wife and hiding her body delayed

SPOKANE, Wash. – The trial for the man accused of killing his wife and putting her body in a freezer has been delayed.

Wahid Kashify murder trial was set to begin on Monday. He faces charges for the death of his wife Arezu Kashify. She was reported missing in May of 2019.

Days later, Arezu’s body was found under a false bottom in a freezer in the couple’s home. By then Wahid has already fled the country. He was on the run until 2022, when he was arrested at a volleyball tournament in Europe…
