SPOKANE, Wash. – Three months after the Upriver Fire reached full containment, Camp Sekani has announced the date of their reopening to the public.
The Department of Natural Resources’ Hazard Mitigation Work & Urban Forestry team has been hard at work, removing most of the hazard trees on site. Volunteer Partners with Evergreen East Mountain Bike Alliance have also taken the time to rehab trails, rebuild the Leap of Faith Ramp, and fill in burned out stump holes.
As a result of the successful mitigation and rehabilitation efforts, Camp Sekani trails and disc golf course will be reopening on Saturday, September 26…
