SPOKANE, Wash. — The City of Spokane will close Washington Street next week for a grind and overlay project that includes curb ramp replacements for ADA accessibility, stormwater system upgrades, and water main replacement.
Starting Monday, Sept. 28, Washington Street closes between 8th Avenue and 6th Avenue. The closure expands Tuesday, Sept. 29, to include the section between 8th Avenue and 3rd Avenue.
Drivers traveling north on Grand Boulevard will be detoured at 7th Avenue to Division Street. Once the closure expands Tuesday, drivers on Bernard Street will be detoured at 14th Avenue to Monroe Street…
