SPOKANE – On September 25, 2026, at approximately 1:40 pm, Spokane Valley Deputies responded to the 12800 block of E. Sprague Avenue for a reported possible shot fired through the floor of a rented studio, which appeared to have come from the rented studio below.
Deputies arrived, secured the two involved rooms, contacted employees, and the adult female victim.
The victim stated she was asleep in her room when a loud noise woke her. Startled and unsure of what caused the noise, she looked at her phone, which showed the time as 3:20 am. After hearing nothing else, she fell back asleep. At approximately 1:00 pm, she got up and felt crumb-like pieces of something on the floor. When she investigated, she found what appeared to be white ceiling and floor chunks spread across the floor around the bed…
