SPOKANE, Wash. — A local contractor already dealing with his own home damage in the aftermath of the August fires now has a new stressor on his plate. His trailer packed full of the tools and equipment he needs to support his family was stolen earlier this month.
“If you steal a construction person’s tools, you’re not only stealing the monetary value, you’re stealing their ability to make the money to replace them,” said Shane Duffy. “Doubled edged sword.”
