Endometriosis treatment developing at WSU, local patient shares debilitating struggles of incurable disease

SPOKANE, WA. – Kristina Medvedev wants to help others suffering with endometriosis, an incurable and chronic disease where tissue similar to the uterus grows outside of the uterus.

For 14 years, Kristina did not know it was the cause of her debilitating pain.

“There was a moment where I had my (menstrual) cycle and I was on the floor, I was curled up in a ball, I was crying, I was passing out from the pain,” Kristina said. “I knew something then was absolutely not right.”…
