A Spokane County Commissioner set 43-year-old Zion Carter’s bond at $100K Monday for allegedly attacking a doctor at Eastern State Hospital in Medical Lake over the weekend.
A Spokane judge acquitted him of the attempted murder of his wife and his stepdaughter by reason of insanity last year, but eventually found him guilty of unlawful possession of a firearm and sentenced him to three years and nine months to serve at Eastern State Hospital.
