Following the July 2025 resignation of controversial former county Prosecutor Larry Haskell, who first took office in 2015, Spokane County voters now get the chance to weigh in on who should replace him.
The two candidates for Spokane County’s top lawyer have dramatically different work experience, with each hoping voters will agree they have what it takes to lead the prosecuting attorney’s office of about 140 full-time employees.
