15-year-old sentenced after breaking in to a home, assaulting couple

SPOKANE, Wash. – A 15-year-old in Spokane was sentenced to more than 4 years of detention in a juvenile detention facility after being found guilty of multiple crimes.

This includes a July incident where the 15-year-old and three adults broke into a home in northwest Spokane. The juvenile shot towards the couple when the woman attempted to defend herself and her partner from assault. All four people were arrested at this time.

The juvenile has had nine felony and three misdemeanor convictions, including two for 3rd degree assault with a weapon and four for unlawful possession of a firearm.
